CD-ROM:
The comprehensive toolbox on CD-ROM is presently available in German. It includes:
  • 60 explanatory sheets dealing in detail with technical topics and frequently asked questions
  • annotated good practice autlines for drafting reports for Screening (Preliminary Assessment), Appropiate Assessment and Derogtion Procedure
  • a compilation of relevant legal documents (e.g. case law of the CoJEG)
Updating  the
Methodological Guidline for Impact Assessment of Transportation Infrastructure 


The first version was published in October 2004 and introduced as mandatory guideline. Since then, the proposed methods have been tested in the planning of several federal motorways and trunk roads. After a test period of two years (October 2006) an update will be prepared.
